Learning Points:
Upon interviewing Douglas, I do learn some knowledge and points from him. Below are the points that I find useful. Douglas said that he would prefer to convey a message using the photo itself instead of adding words.
In order to sustain his passion for photography, he suggested to watch and follow the YouTube channel and Instagram account that does photography; it may come across that upon viewing the photo will motivate you to go out to take these kinds of photos.
Besides, the most challenging job which he works across is shooting a one-year-old kid in a birthday event. He also said that not only taking the good moments of them but also learn how to communicate with the kids, so it will allow you to take more photos of them.
His recommendation for the fresh graduates is to take a lot of photos, develop your own style and learn how to communicate with the customers. I also agree with it, as when you have your own style, that is why the clients find you. Despite the skills, communication is important, as it can help you to build a good relationship between with the clients. In future, he or she may find you again or introduce you to the other clients too.
