Learning Points:
Upon interviewing Victor, I have learnt something from him. For example, talking about the camera model or lens will affect the quality outcome. He said no, which I agree with him as he has proved to me that he didn’t use a high-end gear but come out with high-quality photos. Skill matters more. Skill to me is like the ways to capture creative shots, communicate, and so on. For the technical part, a different brand of the lens has a different outcome. For instance, Nikon is for harder blur result; Sigma is for a bit more colourful and creamy feel, Canon for soft blur result.
The thing that can sustain his photography is he considered it as a game. Upon completing the current project, what other genres of photography job will be coming next. But the main factor is photography is his hobby.
Also, the way he practices his photography skills, he finds his friends as his model. I also totally agree with it, using friends as a model will not that nervous when shooting the photos, and the friend will get a series of photo for his or herself. So it is like a win-win, both sides have benefits.
Lastly, he also points out some advice for the fresh graduates, starts low, and start as a photographer assistant. This is because this is the time where you can learn everything from the photographer.
